2012 Audi A3 will increase the popularity of such lainyya Audi A1 and Q3 soft-roader. Originally scheduled to arrive at the end of the year, the new 2012 Audi A3 will now hit the market early next year in three primary and five-door hatchback model. Further down the track Audi will add a new Cabrio model and Sportback wagon, and according to previous reports there could even be a four-door coupe and the Allroad soft-roader.
The move is designed to help the next A3 compete with the range of 1-series BMW and families sporty model based on the next generation Mercedes A-and B-Class. The basics of the new A3 will once again be shared with the Volkswagen Golf, which means Audi’s latest modular design platform has been ruled out. Compared with the current model, however, traces of the new A3 will grow in size and profile are expected to be more streamlined.
Previous spy shots of the A3 test mule hidden under the sheet metal of the Volkswagen Golf revealed that the next A3 will have a slightly wider track than the current Golf MkVI, confirming that the new model will grow in size.
